Cultural patronage receives an Oscar
On 1st July Societe Generale was awarded the Jacques Rigaud Oscar* for cultural patronage during Admical's 29th Oscar ceremony** in the presence of Patricia Barbizet, CEO of Artémis (a Pinault family holding company), who chaired the jury of the patronage Oscars, and Henri Loyrette, Chairman of Admical.
HR IDEA 2014: Societe Generale ranked highly for its HR digital identity
Within the framework of the HR IDEA (Indicateur Digital de l'Engagement et de l'Attractivité RH, or digital indicator of HR commitment and appeal) 2014 awards, consultancy firm Althéa has revealed its ranking of the performances of CAC 40 companies by category of digital media/tools. Societe Generale is on the podium in three of the five categories: 1st in the Twitter rankings, 2nd in the Careers corporate site category and 3rd overall.

Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) has launched a trade repository reporting offer for OTC derivatives, servicing multi-counterparties and multi-asset classes, under the European Markets Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR). This new regulation requires that all EU counterparties report their derivative contracts, whether OTC or exchange-traded, to a trade repository in order to provide transparency in the derivatives markets.
